Coble Fire responded to I-40 to assist Bucksnort Fire & Rescue this morning for a semi truck on fire. I-40 eastbound was completely shut down while crews extinguished the fire and applied foam to suppress the burning diesel fuel. Other local agencies on scene included Centerville Volunteer Fire Department, Hickman County Emergency Management Agency, and the Hickman County Rescue Squad.
