This apparatus is our primary response vehicle for fires.\u00a0 Equipped with a 1250 gpm pump, we can perform initial attack on structure, automobile, truck, and brush fires in Coble.\u00a0 It is also capable of refilling using our floating pump (placed in a pond) or from a drop tank that is nearby and filled by other apparatus.\u00a0 It can haul a crew of three, and houses air packs and other equipment used for firefighting.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-506 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/coblefire.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_7715-300x215.jpeg\" width=\"300\" height=\"215\" srcset=\"https:\/\/coblefire.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_7715-300x215.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/coblefire.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_7715-600x429.jpeg 600w, https:\/\/coblefire.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_7715.jpeg 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The apparatus itself is a 1990 Ford F800 FMC Engine, acquired from Patrick-Henry County in southern Virginia.\u00a0 <del datetime=\"2018-05-28T15:15:23+00:00\">Until we get the new lettering, don&#8217;t be surprised if you see &#8220;Patrick Henry Volunteer Fire Department&#8221; around the neighborhood.\u00a0 We hope to have all of our vehicles redone with lettering in the near future.\u00a0 If you would like to help with that, <a href=\"https:\/\/coblefire.org\/index.php\/funding\/\">please consider donating<\/a>.
