Several of our Coble firefighters braved the extreme June heat and humidity recently to attend a 2-day live-burn training at the fire academy in Bell Buckle, TN. The course allows them to experience more of a realistic setting while still having close supervision by an experienced set of instructors. Our firefighters are training, all without being paid, in order to be able to provide better fire protection to the community in Coble. 
We are extremely grateful for the self-sacrifice and dedication these firefighters have and for their willingness to always be training and improving the emergency response in Hickman County.
